The first crop was planted in June, and here it is just nicely germinated.... pic taken June14th.
It grew quite well due to the amount of moisture this year....
Same patch ~July8th....
By July21st, it was very high and in bloom....
This year Bill chose to use a scythe to cut the buckwheat ..... first two "swipes".... it looks easier than it is!
